Sydenham Town

Sydenham Town came online in 1998 as a community site for London SE26. Over the next ten years it developed and won a few awards as a traditional website. In 2004 it spawned a Forum which currently gets around 40 postings a day.

 
Sydenham TV

Sydenham also has a very special place in the history of TV. And TV in the form of YouTube has in the last two years made great cultural impact on the internet. In turning full circle an experimental collection of Sydenham related YouTube videos was added to Sydenham Town website on March 8th 2008. The positive reaction encouraged us to develop Sydenham TV as a fully fledged sister site. We launched on March 31st. We are now beginning to create and host our own videos in addition to the YouTubes.

21/03 - Start project. Convert ST blue version and refine to new autonomous red format. Create menus. Ratings tested. GoogleAds tested.

22/03 - Project fully boilerplated. Listing script commisioned. 2 videos added. All launch TV channels added. Just need to be populated.

23/03 - Not much time. Menus corrected, basic listing script sorted & 7 videos added.

24/03 - No time for development. 10 videos added, 37 total.

25/03 - No time for development. 12 videos added, 49 total.

26/03 - No time for development. 2 videos added, 51 total.

27/03 - Latest page added. 6 videos added, 57 total.

28/03 - Three pages of text added (not yet visible). 5 videos added, 62 total.
